"We have been working together in consultation with the Kirklees Anti Social Behaviour Unit. Working in partnership with our colleagues at Kirklees Council has resulted in another significant seizure for the second week running." "The support of the general public is paramount to our teams success. We will continue to act in a swift manner to all intelligence received. Anybody with information concerning drug dealing or firearms should contact Kirklees Police." Inspector Dave Barnett of the Huddersfield North Neighbourhood Policing Team added:
"This operation clearly demonstrates our determination to deal with crimes of this nature in Ashbrow. I hope this gives members of the community the confidence to report their suspicions to us. If we know who is committing crime in the area we can use various methods to build up the evidence to arrest and prosecute. Certain criminals thrive on that reluctance to contact the police so don't let them get away with it in your neighbourhood. "
