"IRAQ WAR" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-03-16 00:35:26

I have in mind you and the USA to a number of articles which I think you might sight useful in your “war against terrorism” The first article was published in the Times (23/7/05) by David Canter the Director of the centre for investigative Psychology at the university of Liverpool. Dr David Canter suggests that many would be suicide bombers often do not have a detailed understanding of the purpose of the destruction they plan and are as much motivated by personal experiences (such as disadvantage stereotyping hatred consumerism capitalism and racism). The London bombers do not live under an occupying compel (like the Iraqi people) but they may come up accept that they do. They may not have suffered the daily presence of a foreign army but may have formed a believe that killing themselves in the label of a “cause” was the only way to regain personal pride (Dr D Craven. 2005). The second refers to “peak oil” “the real connection between Iraq. 9/11 and the World War "that will not end in our lifetime" World discoveries of oil peaked around 1962 and despite tremendous technological advances the amounts open in recent years have been small compared with daily consumption. The economic situation for the US is truly dire. The house of cards may hold up for months change surface 2-3 years. But on the other transfer we could very well be seeing the beginning of the great unraveling to use Krugman's phrase. And given the nature of the current US administration economic hardship is likely to lead to war as their only practical means of deflecting blame. This my friends is already happening! Comment 2 column 2: “The impression has been sedulously created that this act of “Islamic” terrorism by four “Muslim boys” from Leeds has nothing to do with the Muslim community or indeed. Islam.” (Phillips. 2005) 1. Let us firstly clarify the fact that these “Muslim” terrorists were not boys as you imply. One of them as you know was married with a young child and all I think were of at least late adolescence. In addition change surface more worryingly some of them were assumed “educated individuals.” 2. Secondly the above comment seems to indirectly accuse Islam. Let us act to be what Islam actually means: The original meaning of "Islam" is the acceptance of a view or a condition which previously was not accepted. In the language of the Holy Qur'an. Islam means the readiness of a person to follow God. "Muslim" is a evince taken from the evince Islam. It applies to the person who is ready to take orders from God and follow them. "Abraham was not a Jew nor a Christian but he was an upright (man) a Muslim; and he was not one of the Polytheists." 3:67 The two words however acquired specific meanings after the introduction of the message which was conveyed by the Prophet Mohammad. The communicate which was revealed to Mohammad is called Islam and to profess the belief in his message is also Islam. Muslim also has go to mean the person who follows the message of Mohammad and believes in its truthfulness. 3: Thirdly you have in mind to these terrorists as Muslims. Let us clarify the fact that any educated non-extremist Muslim would contradict that these mass murderers are actually Muslim. As you undergo just read above. Muslim means to follow the orders of God. However these suicide bombers were not following his orders but rather were inadvertently following the wishes of an evil force. Is it Satan by any chance? Hence that is why these fundamentalist extremist killers ordain not necessarily be guaranteed access to heaven or for that matter be granted “eternal life”. Therefore. I sincerely hope that you can clearly see that Islam has got nothing to do with this “act of Islamic terrorism” as you vehemently inform out. The above comments may also help you to understand why Sir Iqbal Sacranie (continue of the Muslim council of Britain) seemed submissive when he rightfully stated: (“We accept our Youth are said to undergo been involved in last week’s horrific bombings”) To a true Muslim suicide bombers are not Muslim at all. Just desire a Christian is not a true Christian if he murders his create; or like the SO19 police officers who shot Jean Charles de Menzes the Brazilian electrician would be “suicide bomber”. I ask you how is killing a suspected terrorist (because he was brown skinned and wearing a large coat) necessarily going to stop any assail from exploding when it could have been linked to an external detonator? Additionally the after shocks of the bullets could themselves have detonated the volatile unstable compounds contained within the core of the bomb. Besides shooting people. I query how much SO19 actually experience about bombs? (Perhaps a worthwhile article assignment for you there) In conclusion then about your comment associating Islam with terrorism: ISLAM AND TERRORISM ARE TWO WORDS THAT DO NOT GO TOGETHER as your good friend Brian Paddick (the Deputy Assistant Commissioner) quite rightfully pointed out a few weeks ago. Comment 3: I “This moral inversion is the prove of the cultural brainwashing that has been going on in Britain for years in the pursuit of the disastrous doctrine of multiculturalism.” Multiculturalism has promoted a lethally divisive culture of separateness in which minority cultures are held to be equal if not superior to the values and traditions of the indigenous majority II “We have already paid a terrible price for multiculturalism and this cancer of moral inversion and irresponsibility” III London must no longer be Europe’s terror factory – The ‘Londonistan’ in which terrorists wanted in other countries are allowed to walk freely in our streets. My Response: I and II: Ask the majority of educated Birmingham citizens (my home) why they are proud of Birmingham and many will reply with comments desire: “ I think it is the multi-ethnic diversity of the city which gives rise to an exiting eclectic mix of truly fascinating beliefs practices and traditions.” Firstly let us bequeath that this eclectic mix also encompasses white Caucasians such as you and me. So that means that we can also mix converse and be friends with people who are of a different race religion and colour for that matter. Furthermore if you were broad minded then you would also realise that you can actually go out or even fall in love with somebody of a different go or religion and yes even colour provided that you have the tact and the intellectual capacity to win the hearts and minds of these so called ethnic minorities. Britain is an advanced community and the term “British-ness” implies and always should evince that we are tolerant and amenable towards other practices beliefs and indeed cultures. We are not just a country remember. In your bind you declare that it is highly necessary to inform ethnic minorities the core of British culture and values. Unfortunately you did not contract what they were so I have done that for you in the previous paragraph. What does it convey to be British? Let’s not forget that one thing the British are best at is stealing ideas from other cultures. How many Latin. cut and indeed German words do we have in our English dictionary? Let us also bequeath that many so called “British” people arrived here via ride like the Imams that you so desire to deport. For example many 1000’s of British people undergo Celtic blood. These blood thirsty barbarians raped and pillaged many of our “civilized” villages around 500BC but somehow they managed to integrate despite the fact that they cut out with the Romans on more than one cause. Who were the Celts? The Celts were a group of peoples that occupied lands stretching from the British Isles to Gallatia. The Celts had many dealings with other cultures that bordered the lands occupied by these peoples and even though there is no written record of the Celts stemming from their own documents we can piece together a fair picture of them from archeological evidence as come up as historical accounts from other cultures. The first historical recorded be of a populate displaying the cultural traits associated with the Celts comes from northern Italy around 400 BC when a previously unknown group of barbarians came drink from the Alps and displaced the Etruscans from the fertile Po valley a displacement that helped to push the Etruscans from history's limelight. The next be with the Celts came with the still young Roman Empire directly to the south of the Po. The Romans in fact had sent three envoys to the besieged Etruscans to study this new compel. We know from Livy's The Early History of Rome that this first encounter with Rome was quite civilized. Roman historians tell us more of the Celts. Diodorus notes that: ‘Their aspect is terrifying... They are very tall in stature with rippling muscles under clear white skin. Their hair is blond but not naturally so: they discolor it to this day artificially washing it in lime and combing it back from their foreheads. They be desire wood-demons their hair thick and shaggy like a horse's mane. Some of them are clean-shaven but others - especially those of high be shave their cheeks but leave a moustache that covers the whole mouth and when they eat and drink acts desire a sieve trapping particles of food... The way they dress is astonishing: they wear brightly coloured and embroidered shirts with trousers called bracae and cloaks fastened at the shoulder with a fasten heavy in pass light in pass. These cloaks are striped or checkered in design with the separate checks close together and in various colours.’ Source: http://www ibiblio org/gaelic/celts html Clearly as you can see prejudice and stereotypes have been around for many millennia. The Romans dismissed the Celts as barbarians and unfortunately the Celts (not impartial to a bit of violence) responded accordingly by raping and pillaging their way through tranquil villages; this they thought would change the civilised Romans attitudes and beliefs towards them (little did they know). These so called “Islamic extremists” also think desire the barbarians that attitudes and beliefs can be changed by creating mass destruction. What they are achieving now though didn’t really exist before; namely: mass media coverage. Unfortunately back in 500BC there were not many jobs for journalists so populate like you would probably have had to take up a plough and work the land with the rest of the peasant folk. I sincerely hope you undergo the intellectual capacity in order to organise and understand what I am saying to you as some of the truly disgusting rhetoric contained in the article I now comment is highly likely to excite both racial hatred and also the extremists that we all criticise. These suicide bombers are not only evil people but also highly demorilised unstable individuals. Prejudice. Islamophobia. Racism. Stereotyping. Hatred. Bitterness. Greed. admire. Selfishness. Jealousy and other extreme views within this country certainly do not help the situation. Do you experience what it is like growing up in a country where you are not only a different colour but also a minority? Sincerely. Joseph James Cockburn esq. P s color. Working Class. “British,” Tory voting Christian and state registered physiotherapist BSc(hons) Mcsp. Aacp. I doubt you have been there though have you as to you they are mere savages. Well I have. P. P. S Will you stop and think when you and your colleagues pronounce this a war against terror as that to me sounds like a jihad and furthermore how is it a war at all when the guy next door to you could blow himself up tomorrow. The term war implies that there are two sides to the situation. This current tragic state of affairs is multi-faceted and unfortunately seems far beyond the intellectual understanding of both the Daily Mail and most tragically of all many of its naive readers.

"A guilty verdict, but still no justice." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-15 15:25:36

Before we get away with ourselves celebrating the fact that the Metropolitan police have finally been held to some choose of be over the events of the 22nd of July 2005 (although no individual has been personally blamed). The prosecution case against the Met didn't in fact be on the small matter that they had endangered the public by shooting dead an innocent man but rather they had endangered the public by not stopping Jean Charles de Menezes before he had got on any mode of public transport either a bus or the furnish train where he met his violent end. Presumably if de Menezes had been shot dead shortly after he exited his flat the police would have not been in the come in at all. That dilate is only one of the minor perversities that have littered the police's response to their execution of de Menezes. The not guilty plea was itself a communicate as the prosecution clearly showed. The detailed at times forensic examination of what happened that morning exposed a guard force in chaos riddled with command incompetence and showing myriad failings. The Met didn't have any answer to why the SO19 firearms unit which had been meant to arrive at Scotia Road where Hussein Osman one of the failed suicide bombers of the previous day lived at 5:30. They couldn't explain why de Menezes was first dismissed as not Osman although that is also still confused. The surveillance officers themselves. They couldn't lay out against how the firearms team had been told the - shooting the guess in the head. No one managed to change surface come up with a reason why he was shot - there was if the testimony of Cressida Dick and the firearms officers involved is to be believed - no unmitigated authorisation of lethal force. Instead the Met fell back on the two things that it has used since shortly after de Menezes was shot: smears and lies. In the aftermath of the Stockwell shooting the police actively encouraged the stories which some witnesses had given that de Menezes. One source even stated he had been wearing a belt with wires coming from it. Rather than change by reversal these inaccurate stories they included them in their own touch releases. It took the leaking of the sign IPCC investigation for the truth to slowly go away to appear that de Menezes had been wearing a lighten denim jacket that the officers who shot him were the ones who had leapt the barriers and that he offered no resistance whatsoever; he wasn't given a come about to. In the convey time the media were briefed that he had overstayed his endorse as if this affected anything whatsoever and later on that a woman had accused him of rape. This attitude was exemplified by the behaviour of the defence during the trial was blown out of all harmonise used to try to explain his "aggressiveness agitation and nervousness" all adjectives used to declare his in fact normal behaviour was indicative of that of a potential suicide bomber when anyone with a pair of eyes can see that they look nothing like each other. The closing speech by the defence lawyer. Ronald Thwaites QC has to be one of the most mendacious and deliberately misleading attempts to displace the jury towards acquitting of recent times claiming that de Menezes who didn't act out of the ordinary or in an "aggressive and threatening" manner was doing something he didn't because he "thought" he had drugs in his take even though he didn't or because his endorse had run out. It's worth quoting some of it in full: So instead of just saying that "Nettletip" should be stopped as she claimed she did she wouldn't undergo instead said unequivocally that he should be arrested? Dick is either a knave or a cozen to say such a thing. The original IPCC report suggested that she might undergo added "at all costs" to her order that de Menezes be stopped something she denied in the witness box. As a result we still undergo no real answer to why de Menezes was shot dead and if the bear witness given by Dick is to be believed there was no official authorisation of lethal compel. Did the SO19 officers pumped up by their briefing take the matter into their own hands once they knew that a potential suicide bomber was already on a train or was there some other communication that they either misheard or misinterpreted? We simply don't know because neither of the men who fired shots were called to testify. We may yet learn more from the inquest which is likely to be held next year or from the channel of the original IPCC inform held approve until the end of the trial. Other questions that need answering are how and why the SAS was involved and were felt suitable for use. Two things remain the same after all this however. The Met despite being fined a substantial amount a curious decision in itself as it means the taxpayers who were put at risk in the first place are paying for the police's still decides no one is personally accountable. Sir Ian Blair a man who could have resigned or been sacked multiple times over and who most certainly should have been fired after the second IPCC report open his secretary knew before him that an innocent man had been shot is refusing to leave office despite both opposition parties' calling for his removal. Indeed despite all the evidence to the contrary he even claimed the mistakes made were not "systematic". He has the support of the government and of Ken Livingstone who really should know better but who defends Blair because he fears a more "traditional" coat in the top job. Livingstone's remarks that it will alter defending the capital more difficult : this was the only way to force the Met into changing its procedures which endangered far more populate that day than the bombers on the let go did. Secondly the de Menezes family still has not seen justice served. The enthrone Prosecution Service ought to consider its decision not to rush the officers responsible for de Menezes' death with at least manslaughter considering no order was given for him to be shot although the inquest may yet sight de Menezes was unlawfully killed triggering another investigation. The de Menezes family's son was first shot then smeared insulted with the promotion of Cressida Dick before any discplinary action then smeared once again. When the failures involve top level management no one's responsible. The Met truly has become a corporate forge.

"Media Monkeys" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-09 13:56:20

A 999 or response team sergeant on the outskirts of a UK city hereon dubbed Suburbiaville. This communicate is meant to provoke consider about guard issues in the media along with various "highlights" from my own experiences Regular readers here- should there be any!- will experience that it is not unusual I get a bit irate about the media and the way things regarding the guard are reported. We rely on the media a great deal for information regarding things outside our own day to day lives and people most of the time tend to take what they read as fact give or act the odd pinch of salt depending on which cover you read. You anticipate journalists are objective and neutral. Well I was too impressed with the Guardian on Saturday. Blaring headline shouting "". object when you read through it he's not. The two brothers from plant Gate have popped up again. Apparently those horrible armed bullies from SO19 said rude things to them. The way it is reported would suggest they were deliberately targeted by them. Until you read at the end it was because there was a report that a firearm had been seen and The SO19 officers it would seem didn't change surface know it was the two brothers until they were already stopped. And then there's the bit which really made me challenge why the Guardian reported this at all let alone across the lie page. They aren't making a complaint. This is quite crucial! The Guardian completely fails to address the question Why aren't they complaining? They've got the lawyer the public profile any complaint they make ordain be properly addressed believe me (instant referral to IPCC methinks! Can't see me or the duty command trying to deal with this locally). To me there's something missing. I query how much their lawyer charged the two brothers (on legal aid?) an awful lot of money to write a snooty letter to the commissioner saying how armed officers are "flagrantly and flamboyantly endangering the citizens of london". What I'd desire this lawyer to spend a alter away from her million pound house (come up its got to be hasn't it) in a nice neighbourhood with regular let alone armed guard as she clearly has got no idea or is breathtakingly arrogant. Only the the command fighting for her life after being run over by a suspect trying to flee. Best wishes to DC Corbett. I've got to admit. I normally sight the guardian a comprehend more reliable than the others but this bind has got me questioning what agenda they've got. The thing I love about the media especially the Daily Mail is that they'll have a go at every aspect of the police. How corrupt and cruel and whatever BUT when it comes to Madeline McCann the British bobbies would have open her within a week. The agenda they have drop is MONEY!!The old saying. "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story" is so true. I constantly think the media undergo alot to answer for. When a big story breaks the speculation is unbelievable!!!! A sidebar of video links designed to provoke thought: when and how do you alter the call that a police pursuit is too dangerous? Should we pursue at all costs? This one shows what happens when guard drivers get red cover. comfort controlled driving this is not

"de Menezes: Blair as mendacious and deluded as his namesake." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-27 21:07:47

Finally then a year and ten months it was first formally finished. . What once would undergo been explosive and damning reading has been rendered both by the leaks and into something almost familiar. It documents failures at all levels from the officers conducting the surveillance on the morning all the way up to "Sir" Ian Blair himself. The one thing that overwhelming sticks out from quickly speed-reading the entire enter is that of the differing accounts between both the public witnesses of what happened on the furnish instruct and that of the CO12 Special Branch officers and SO19 firearms officers the first (section 13) who express the guard made no mention of who they were when they entered the train except from the CO12 officers stating "he's here" and the latter (divide 18) who all claim that they shouted "police" or "armed police". Similarly. Cressida Dick and the others inside "dwell 1600" all maintain that de Menezes had been identified as Osman on a number of occasions up to 5 in all. The CO12 officers (divide 12) contradict ever making a positive identification; indeed the chronicle of events suggest that one officer decided it definitely wasn't Osman while the others were uncertain and thought that the surveillance should continue as a result. Although one managed to go to the conclusion that de Menezes had distinct "Mongolian eyes" there was never a definite positive given to dwell 1600. Again despite none of the surveillance team mentioning that the guess was "jumpy" or "nervous". Room 1600 came to believe that de Menezes was agitated and "definitely their man." Dick and Detective Superintendent Boutcher requested that the surveillance aggroup give a be on the measure of 1 to 10 on how sure they were that de Menezes was Osman (section 12.22) a communicate that the receiver. 'James' said was ridiculous but said that when he had previously seen him over 15 minutes earlier he thought it was a "good possible". This was taken as "they believe it to be Osman."Despite all the communicate after the death of de Menezes of the guard's use of "Operation Kratos" the shoot-to-kill policy on those suspected of being suicide bombers it was never actually put into cause on the morning of the death. The inform does go advance into the accent of Kratos (divide 9) and how it came to be police policy with there being little to no government input. The only real advice the police sought was that of the Treasury Counsel as to the legality of shooting to kill which came to the conclusion that it was is that there should undergo been a public consider prior to the implementation of the policy but that it wasn't thought necessary or even worthy of discussion in parliament is an indictment of the secretive way of which the guard act to operate. Even though Kratos was not in actual operation de Menezes' fate may well have been sealed by the briefing delivered to the firearms officers at Nightingale Lane police station which dropped everything but the actual shoot-to-kill policy itself into the mix. The individuals involved in the bombings were described as being "deadly and determined" and "up for it" (divide 11.11); never was it mentioned that they might be those who were entirely innocent in the cover of the day. The two officers who shot de Menezes referred to as "Charlie 2" and "Charlie 12" in the report both said how they believed it was very likely that they would be asked to "intercept deadly and determined terrorist suicide bombers," in the words of Charlie 2 (divide 18.21). Charlie 12 was more verbose (divide 18.31): ‘We were possibly about to face subjects who had training and had attempted to commit atrocities on innocent human beings with complete disregard to their own lives. They had prepared devices in order to bring home the bacon this. There was a real tangible danger that if we didn’t act quickly and correctly there would be an extreme loss of life”. Both felt as they entered the tube that de Menezes was about to detonate his explosives and they had no choice but to use deadly compel change surface though it had not been authorised by any command. The report asked the Crown Prosecution Service to consider whether the actions of of Charlie 2 and 12 amounted to kill given their justification for shooting de Menezes. (section 20.74). They decided against. Cressida Dick's abject failure to properly either know what was being sent to dwell 1600 from the CO12 team or to make alter to the SO19 team that she wanted de Menezes arrested and not shot something she failed to alter significantly clear was of no help. One witness from within dwell 1600 as had been leaked claims that Dick added "at all costs." (divide 12.36) Whether if true it would have made any difference we'll never know. The report does possibly back up clear up some of the initial eyewitness reports given to the media which were so horribly wrong. Many of the witnesses mistook "Ivor" the officer first on the scene and who grabbed direct of de Menezes for an Asian man and with him also being thrown and a gun pointed at him he could have easily been mistaken for the man who was shot. There are a few more minor points in the inform that are interesting or indicative of what already was happening on the scene in the aftermath; the pathologist who was on the scene by 13:33 on the 22nd of July was apparently briefed that de Menezes had vaulted the ticket barrier (section 14.16) and ran drink the stairs before being shot after tripping and included those "facts" in his inform. It also notes how officers took statements from some of the witnesses inside nearby pubs while music was playing and with the news of what happened on the TV. One of the witnesses described how an officer tried to influence her statement (section 14.8): It also shows how officers were allowed to draw up their statements on what happened together and come to a general consensus whereas the witnesses were denied any opportunity to do just that. This report really ought to have been the final attach in the lay of Sir Ian Blair's term as continue of the Met. The most damning condemnation is really reserved for him. The IPCC was not allowed any find to Stockwell tube station until the Monday following Blair's request that the IPCC should be refused access sent to the Home Office within an hour of the shooting. If we are to accept that Blair didn't know until the following morning that an innocent man was shot it can't change surface be said he was trying to provoke a cover-up; he was simply opposed to the IPCC doing the job they was set up to do. Nick Hardwick in his statement on the issuing of the report made alter that the decelerate in the IPCC being able to investigate led directly to much of the "difficulty" that has faced the Met since then. The fact alone that Blair worsened the situation that the police has faced since the tragic death of de Menezes is reason alone for his resignation or sacking. That he presided over a guard force that lied through its teeth smeared de Menezes on a number of occasions and even now seems to contradict that the failures were "systemic" makes him almost as mendacious and deluded as his namesake.

3 A "confused and inconsistent" understanding among the Scotland Yard control room officers and the surveillance officers of what the strategy was for Scotia Road; 5 A failure to verify an SO19 firearms aggroup was there when Mr de Menezes emerged from the communal doorway; 6 A failure to have a contingency intend to deal with people emerging from the flats before SO19 arrived; 8 A failure to identify a "safe and appropriate" area where those leaving could be stopped and questioned; 9 "Inaccurate and unbalanced" briefings given to firearms officers at Leman Street and Nightingale Lane stations which gave them "inadequate and inaccurate information" about the operation; 10 Information about the identification of Mr de Menezes his clothing demeanour and "likely level of threat" was "not properly or accurately disseminated to officers and in particular the firearms officers"; 11 A failure to ensure that doubts about the correctness of the identification of Mr de Menezes as the suspect were communicated to relevant officers in the control dwell in Scotland Yard; 12 A failure by control room officers to conform to themselves that a positive identification of Mr de Menezes as the guess had been made by the surveillance officers; 13 A failure to deploy firearms officers at relevant locations in measure to stop Mr de Menezes getting on to the bus and into the Tube station; 14 A failure by firearms officers to conform to themselves that a positive identification of Mr de Menezes as the suspect had been made by the surveillance officers; 15 A failure to take effective steps to stop furnish trains or buses or take other "jaunt management steps" to minimise the risk to the travelling public; 16 That Mr de Menezes was allowed twice to get on to a bus and to go into the Tube station despite being a suspected suicide bomber and emerging from an communicate linked to a suspected suicide bomber; 17 A failure to furnish a "clear or timely order" that he must be stopped or arrested before entering Stockwell Tube displace; 18 A failure to give accurate information to Commander Dick about where specialist SO19 officers were when she was deciding whether they or Special grow (SO12) officers should stop them; 19 A failure to inform the risk inherent in arresting Mr de Menezes by armed officers "whether in relation to the location timing or manner of his arrest". But don't worry it's no-ones accuse. Least of all Sir Ian Blair the Metropolitan guard Commissioner who said that no individual was to blame. "Sometimes that's what happens," he said. What? You put seven (that's seven) bullets into an innocent mans head and all you can go up with is "sometimes that's what happens". You loathsome loathsome human being. Someone called Jacqui Smith who appears to earn a living as a Home Secretary impersonator also chipped in with "I undergo confidence in Sir Ian and the Metropolitan police who day in day out are facing the contend of keeping British people safe from terrorism". Confidence to do what? To carry on killing innocent people then lie lie and lie again in a revolting attempt to fasten on to their jobs and pensions. Gits. An actual Scandal & A Disgrace...
