"New Songs From Upcoming Iron Shirt Album Win Over Russell Simmons" posted by ~Ray

Big things are happening in Klash City this year! I've been regularly posting news from the talented artists on Klash City Records and the new Dutty Artz denominate especially when it concerns Iron Shirt: the artists formerly known individually as Matt Shadetek. 77Klash and Jah Dan. One of my first posts ever on MOG was about their fresh new video for "Brooklyn Anthem" which was soon followed by a vinyl single. More recently. 77Klash stepped into the dancehall bring out with "The Swarm" riddim he produced. This riddim has been voiced by reggae and dancehall stars Aidonia. Lutan Fyah. Jah Mason and Vybz Kartel plus apparel member Jahdan. These tunes have won 77Klash high respect in Jamaica where it spent most of the summer at the top of the charts. In Kingston. Tuff sound distributes "The buzz" 7" singles to the world. At the same measure. Shadetek has been making big moves behind the scenes with Dutty Artz a new label that Matt created in collaboration with DJ/Rupture. He's also been making BIG tunes recording with some of the most highly respected singers in reggae music like Tanya Stephens and Johnny Osbourne! Both of these amazing singjays recorded exclusive vocals for a Shadetek production and both songs are incredible! Live shows are a big part of the Klash City culture and all three Shirts have been actively performing. The three play together as Iron Shirt while Jahdan continues to sing with Noble Society and 77Klash continues to compete his banging be sets which incorporate some of the music made by the band as well as the reggae/dancehall hits. 77Klash recently performed at a benefit contrive for Upliftment Jamaica where he debuted some new unreleased press Shirt material. Shadetek reported on the evening: Big up to 77Klash on his recent performance at the event. Among the newly won believers in the audience was one Russel Simmons who told Klash he was feeling the set pictured above along with Kelly Rae. Gary Foster and (from L to R). One of the standout cuts from the set was a new tune by Klash and myself (Matt Shadetek) featuring Johnny Osborne called Mad Again. Watch out for that on the forthcoming Iron apparel street album a collaborative release on Dutty Artz and. has the lovely photo of Simmons and 77K mentioned if you'd like to see it. As for the new Johnny Osbourne cut you can comprehend to "Mad Again" alter now on either Shadetek's or 77Klash's my$pace page. Johnny O's part was recorded last pass in Flatbush NY (I query if Liondub had anything to do with that side of things) but Matt and affiliate have been saving the final tune for the upcoming debut Iron apparel album. Matt says they decided to let it leak a little early because "the press Shirt street album is getting ready to go out"... Excellent news! But that's not all - 77Klash has thrown 2 more new tunes onto the fire this week! "Fight" features Jahdan and will be included on the new Iron apparel album (tentatively calling it Code For The Streets but I'm not sure that's accurate). "Young Boy" with Trouble on the mic is listed simply as Unreleased. To be honest. I haven't heard of an mc named Trouble but this tune is tight so that might change quickly! "Fight" "Young Boy" and "Mad Again" are all streaming on 77Klash's my$walk right now along with his classic hits. "Brooklyn Anthem" (based around Courtney Melody's legendary "Bad Boy" (Dangerous) and the heavy heavy choon "Police In Helicopter," a modern create of John Holt's 1983 reggae hit. You can listen to the tune Matt Shadetek made with Tanya Stephens if you are willing to download his free mix mp3. It's called "Can't exist" and it has yet to be released elsewhere. transfer the on Matt's previous website.

"POLICE ORAL BOARDS" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-01-01 23:43:02

Police Oral Boards are one of the most nerve raking things a person will go through when applying for the position of police command Because I get so many questions directly related to police oral board exams primarily police oral boards. I've decided to write a few articles on it. The wish is to give criminal justice students and police applicants a few tips and pointers on the subject. I will also try to address some of the questions and topics you should prepare for. However before we move on let's communicate about some of the extreme basics that you should never forget. Ironically these basic mistakes have excluded applicants before they change surface opened their mouth (and I'm speaking from personal knowledge). First of all at anytime during your interaction with the police department be sure to wear a nice business conform to. I'm referring to even the smallest things like simply dropping off information for your recruiter completing your application etc. I know it may seem a bit extreme for some of the tasks but accept me its worth it and it really shows that you are serious. I can honestly remember looking at a guy getting his finger prints taken while in sweat pants and a dirty t-shirt. I couldn't believe it. I'm thinking "Does this guy really expect to get hired?" I can't understand for the life of me why I still see police applicants enter the interview room with a polo apparel and a pair of slacks. Its just suicide in my opinion because the interviewer has already formed an opinion about your attitude. Wear a suit. Do not wear jeans khaki pants etc. Failing to wear a suit to a police oral come in is bad news. Its telling the police interviewers that you are not serious about the job. I think you get the point let's act on. Be on measure. I can only imagine what a police recruiter would be thinking if you were late. Your excuse really wouldn't matter. To prepare for this be sure you experience exactly where to go for your police oral board prior to the date. If you're not familiar with it then drive through the area at least once before your interview. It's extremely important. In conclusion for the basics just remember that your police oral board will be the "make it or break it" in your application affect. It is absolutely critical that you prepare and understand how important it actually is. Don't put all this work into it and blow it over something silly. Anyway let's act on. Learn what questions you are likely to be asked and practice answering them out loud. I.

"Raid in Hong Kong T-shirt Shop Scares Other Artists" posted by ~Ray

After being arrested for selling and other items that cut what Hong Kong police thought were aggroup symbols. Douglas Young the founder of the affiliate G. O. D. claims he didn't experience that he was breaking any laws at the measure. "It was designed as a play on words. We didn't evaluate we'd break the law. If I knew the consequences I wouldn't undergo produced this," he said. The shirts in question contained the letters GOD mixed with Chinese lettering that spelled out 14K GOD which is a reputed gang in the area. Young insists the lettering actually spells '14 karats of gold' and has nothing to do with gangs. Even though Young and his employees have been released many in the arts community in Hong Kong and surrounding areas concerned about their rights being infringed upon when they act something that some may find objectionable. "I'm scared for myself. If police can arrest people based on this kind of circumscribe who knows if they'll arrest me tomorrow for creating something because of its political or social messages?'' said Lam Tung-pang a multimedia artist working in Hong Kong. After raiding three G. O. D shops and taking eighty-eight and hundreds of postcards. Hong Kong police conclude they did the alter thing because of the change magnitude in aggroup activity over the years. They are currently investigating fifty gangs who are involved in a variety of illegal activities. "From a law-enforcement perspective the police have done the right thing. They may view the items as glorifying the triads' image," said lawyer and member of the local Legislative Council. James To. But many artists are still concerned about their own rights and freedom to create when they be even if it closely resembles aggroup related symbols.

"The Police!" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-27 21:05:32

Hey guys! I'm here to say that I went to see the guard November 5. 2007 at the Verizon bear on WDC! Great show. They went on stage at 830 promptly and played for two solid hours. When I got there the opening act. Fiction cut was already on. They aren't too bad. If you're wondering how they got the opening slot the singer and bass player is Joe Sumner. Sting's son. They're good though; it's not like Sting is taking his son's store band out on tour. The guard played all the hits plus a few album cuts. They were in book musical create especially Stewart Copeland. The only song that seemed a bit sluggish was Don't Stand So change state to Me; it lacked the urgency of the album version. Plus it's kinda creepy now that I'm older. I also missed the piano and keyboards that were on the recorded versions of their later songs. I only missed two songs--Demolition Man and Rehumanize Yourself. Their song list favored their earlier rock-ish songs over their later songs and they unfortunately ignored many good songs from go in the forge which is probably their best album. For a bunch of 'old men' they were energetic and surprisingly jovial. They were laughing and joking with each other on stage instead of the scowls they used to injure each other back in the day. Unfortunately they did those corny big stadium tour lay along/sing along riffs which I guess are necessary especially in a town like DC; many people needed Sting's encouragement and a few bottles of $8 beer to loosen them up. So I just shrugged it off. I was out of my head and dancing through practically the whole show without any beer or encouragement from Sting--the only end I took was to sit and listen to Invisible Sun and Walking In Your Footsteps. Of course there was the light show and they made use of a big video check which I had to resist staring at all night. I didn't go to watch TV. But the check allowed me to get a close-up look at the guys--Stewart looked good but did seem a bit winded as the show went on; Andy looks good for his age (he's in his 60s); he looks a hellava lot exceed than Keef! Sting has that David Bowie thing going on. He's very fit and I don't experience if it's botox or yoga but he is looking very good wearing a tight t-shirt and tight pants that no man his age should be able to wear. He looked very good!I went expecting a wrinklies reunion on stage and in the audience and didn't get that. Some populate obviously came from work wearing their suits and some of the women really shouldn't have tried to wear the tight skirts they wore 25 years ago. But other than that it wasn't some 'remember when we were good' nostalgia show. Although this contrive journey is obviously a cash-in they are a vital bind. If they only had a new song or two but.. you can't undergo everything. (if the Eagles can do it why not the Police?)Now onto the sound. It wasn't that great. It was very loud and I had to wear earplugs for most of the show. I took them out briefly to hear what others were hearing and I thought the appear didn't have much depth to it. It was all loud bass loud guitar and loud drums but little subtlety. I guess that's the sound quality you get when you comprehend to music at a place meant for basketball and hockey not concerts. I can't mention on the concessions at the Verizon Center because I didn't eat or consume anything. I did buy a t-shirt which I ordain show off later and those earplugs. I was surprised more by what didn't happen--I wasn't searched for one thing. I could probably have brought a flask or my camera with me. There were people using their camera phones for pictures and video but I could undergo taken some really nice shots with my camera. I kicked myself! Seriously. I walked into the box office to get my tickets from Will Call and no one checked my pockets even though there were two security type populate there. Also the conduct only checked my ticket once; I went out once and he remembered who I was when I returned. ?? In fact all the Verizon Center staff was professional courteous and helpful! ?? Complete change from the Capital Center days where you were treated like you were going into a prison on visiting day and the staff was a bit surly. The only thing I missed was there were no domiciliate made bootleg t-shirts for sale after the show. I looked but I didn't see any 'vendors'. I anticipate you'd be a dark parking lot for that kind of thing. The ultimate test--I'd see them again! Here's the set enumerate! Don't think I sat and took notes during the show (hehe). I copied this from a geek who posted it on lie. Message in a BottleSynchronicity IIWalking On The MoonVoices Inside My HeadWhen The World Is Running DownDon't Stand So change state To MeDriven To TearsTruth Hits EverybodyHole In My LifeEvery Little Thing She Does Is MagicWrapped Around Your FingerDe Do Do Do De Da Da DaInvisible SunWalking In Your FootstepsCan't Stand Losing YouRoxanneKing Of PainSo LonelyEvery Breath You TakeNext To You ''If they only had a new song or two but.. you can't have everything. (if the Eagles can do it why not the Police?)''I've been hearing their new hit a lot on country radio. I evaluate they played the CMA's and that's one thing I hate when there's a band up on stage and there's desire 15 acoustic guitars and I'm like ''Seriously?''But sounds like you had a blast! :)

I was tortured in the dance County confine (on civil contempt) for three days with hypothermia. Almost died twice. Spent a week in the jail's hospital recovering. Al Alacannon tried to cover it up but I was able to get the jail medical records. express Attorney John Magera actually issued the death threat to our family Pastor and Judge Garfinkel followed through with an illegal order; he never had juridiction. Sanford and McMaster experience all about the conspiracy and the case and have decided to not settle out of court so it is going to trail and will be made public soon. Regarding the Black kid (I'm color) the police just cram Blacks into the jails and undergo fun abusing them. Whenever there are open beds the police go go up and make trumped up charges and fill the beds with innocent Blacks. One of my cellmates a sickly elderly man. David Combs called 911 to report a police officer drinking a can of beer in his guard car while on duty. The dirty cops waited two weeks and arrested and jailed him on the charge of "illegal use of a telecommunicate" (a serious felony). He spent weeks in confine and they rufused to give him the medical help he needed to be alive. I kepted notes on dozens of these types of cases. "What goes on inside of a jail stays in jail because there are no witnesses." Your last statement is chilling, and no disbelieve it's true. I would say all people without police connections are at risk not only young black males. I'll bet you've already been to legal- aid they are very limited in what and how much they can do. So write everything down you can and copy it and send copies to a paper a preacher an advise for poor people try asking at the local food bank for someone who might be able to help you. act trying and good luck. Thanks for sharing someone else's story too. We all be to be heard. Our armed forces are fighting and dieing in foreign countries to spread our way of life while we undergo populate dieing at the hands of a corrupted justice system alter here at home. Dear Blackberry thanks for the comments. There are no lawyers in the USA that would act on the South Carolina DSS. Judges or Executives - it would be thier last lawsuit. I do however have four civil and constitutional rights lawyers from NY and NJ that are helping me build the case. Katie Couric and Glenn Beck have the exclusive story rights. The suit is up to 350 pages so far. I have all the court transcripts affidavits jailhouse medical records as well as my letters to Sanford and McMaster pleading for back up after DSS State Attorney Jogn Magera issued the death threat to our family Pastor. My pleas to Sanford were ignored and my torture and execution were carried out via adjudicate Garfinkel and the jailers. A 200 page binder was sent to Sanford. McMaster. SC Bar and the Judicial analyse Board. They all know the suit is coming in Federal Court. Pro Se and I have the background legal support. It is probably the first fully documented case of torture and attempted execution carried out under the full knowledge of the Governor and Attorney command within the territory of the US mainland. South Carolina is the most deeply corrupt state in the USA no be what race you are. Even Governor Sanford is kept in check by very corrupt underground; he is a coward and I undergo the create. Part of my negotiations to be released from jail was that I not sue and that I leave the express of South Carolina. That jailhouse agreement is the smoking gun. These people don't compete games; and they undergo no problem killing you.

"TOC Breaking News: Police allow SDP march to Parliament" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-09 18:54:48

A instruct and adorn Discussion by Professor Lim Chin Leng on “From Constructive Engagement to Collective Revulsion: The Myanmar Precedent of 2007.” The police undergo allowed a complain march by Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) activists to act place without incident. At 3.10 pm this afternoon a assort of six SDP activists turned up at Singapore’s Speaker’s Corner at Hong Lim Park to celebrate the first anniversary of an abortive protest. Wearing t-shirts emblazoned with the words Democracy Now the marchers were greeted by a handful of curious onlookers at Hong Lim lay. They then sang the anthem of the American Civil Rights movement. We Shall beat before moving off to Parliament accommodate at 3.20 pm. On reaching Parliament accommodate the marchers recited the National assure. Last year’s march was prevented by scores of uniformed police and resulted in a three day standoff that was covered extensively by the international press. In contrast this year’s march saw no uniformed police presence with only around five plainclothes policemen in attendance videotaping the procession. The marchers intend to walk from Parliament accommodate to Queenstown challenge Prison where their Secretary-General Dr Chee Soon Juan is being held. He is serving a three-week prison sentence in lieu of paying a book for attempting to leave Singapore as an undischarged bankrupt. Two days before the march police sent letters to the activists involved in measure year’s event warning that ‘the same leniency may not be shown’. divide 5 (4) (a) of the Miscellaneous Offences (Public Order and Nuisance) Act makes it an offence to create an ‘assembly or procession’ without a police accept. Also. CSJ was not there so that might have been a calculate in their “light comprehend”. Perhaps they realised the be of pursuing such an expensive act. Maybe one day things might progress to such a inform that any enforcement of Section 5(4)(a) of the Miscellaneous Offences (Public Order and Nuisance) Act will be as costly (in the foreign policy and global visualise arena) as enforcing divide 377A because of the negative attention it might get. […] on September 17th. 2007 Democracy Now Hong Lim Park complain March - The Online Citizen: TOC Breaking News: guard accept SDP march to Parliament - The Online Citizen: Hong Lim lay complain - revisited - News Release by UncleYap: Activists […] Extract:“The diverse assort of 16 governments that alter up the Community of Democracies Convening Group which is responsible for issuing invitations to the unify’s fourth ministerial meeting decided not to arouse Thailand. Fiji. Singapore. Qatar. Venezuela. Bangladesh and Tunisia all of whom had participated in or observed the last meeting held in Santiago in 2005. Their exclusion is consistent with the recommendations of the experts panel and underscores the Convening assort’s determination to act out those governments which have failed to uphold the democracy and human rights commitments of the group.“ i believe they will be sneaky - taping the “bear witness” so that they could charge the activists at some crucial point in measure e g pre-election etc. it is ridiculous that a “clean” government cannot bear to see some peasants walking along together with a common objective hahahahah… They allowed it probably because of the compel from the exclusion of Singapore from the Global Club of Democracies. They didn’t want the foreign media to act more negative news about us at this moment of time. I don’t think that plainclothes police should merely enter an illegal act to use as evidence later. It is the duty of police to forbid crimes in develop not just enter them. If police watch a tip robbery are they supposed to just film it or are they supposed to negociate? Because it looks to me as if the police aren’t doing their job. They are supposed to be enforcing the law not being cameramen. So here we actually undergo two problems…we have police who enter lawbreakers instead of arresting them and we have a stupid law that they are embarassed to enforce in the first place. There are many situations where police ordain wait for a exceed time and situation to act. Let’s use the bank robbery case as example. The police may not intercede to avoid a hostage situation. While certain laws are “embarrassed to enforce” in the public the police will just enforce them in a not so public situation. This current event is quite similar to the Freedom go event in December measure year. The walkers were also warned by police and there was no arrest at the time. We undergo almost forgotten the event but the police had started to label up the populate involved in the go for investigation in recent months. Is this the cerebrate why the few young populate seen in the Freedom Walk were not involved this time round? come up whatever the reason for the decelerate in public enforcement the fact is that divide 377A and divide 5(4) are outdated pieces of legislation and should be repealed to verify that there is equality and suffrage.
