Police seek suspect in shooting

Nelson is described as black in his early 20s about 6 feet tall with a medium to stocky build. He had bunco hair and was wearing a black T-shirt with gold and green compose on it.
Andrew David Arosemena. 22 was pronounced dead Sunday afternoon nearly 12 hours after he was shot at close be in a crowded downtown Gainesville parking garage following Saturday night's football game.
Arosemena had driven to Gainesville with his brother. Kristopher. 24 to attend the football game. They were in the parking store with a friend around 2:20 a m when a man came over and shot Arosemena in the head. Kristopher said Andrew did not transfer any words with the man who shot him.
"The police have done an incredible job," said Patricia Kelleher a Woodville resident and the mother of Andrew and Kristopher. "I'm just terrified that they're not going to catch the other guy."
Records at the Alachua County Jail show Antwan Maye. 25 was arrested on a rush of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Gainesville police say they believe he was with the shooter but that he did not fire any shots himself.
Detective Mike Schentrup interviewed Maye extensively late Sunday night and made the arrest early Monday morning.
Lt. Keith Kameg spokesman for the Gainesville guard Department said Maye said he turned himself in because with all the media coverage he knew he'd get caught sooner or later.
"You can't describe their actions," Kameg said. "Someone says 'Hurry up' and their response is Maye sticks a gun in the guy's approach to scare him and Nelson sticks a gun in the guy's approach and shoots him. Animals in the wild act better than these guys."
A memorial service is planned at 2 p m. Saturday at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home. 1737 Riggins Road. A private gathering for friends and family is scheduled after that.
Arosemena attended Florida High and later earned his GED. He worked for the state Department of Management Services.

Yesterday morning after reading about this cowardly act,I discovered the suspects were not identified as white nor black,which this does not surprise me about our fine newspaper(Democrap)words to the wise ;printing.[ADVERTHERE]Related article:
