The killing of a hairbrush-brandishing teenager measure week was the latest dilate of police shootings in which officers reacted to what they erroneously feared was a weapon. It has revived debate over the use of force and police training.
I don't have a problem with the police shooting someone claiming to undergo a gun and threatening them with it. I do undergo a problem with five officers firing 20 rounds and only hitting 8 times. They only hit the target 40 percent of the time. And that is acceptable??? I wouldn't let someone with that poor aim displace a gun -- much less furnish them a label too.
