Change in Leadership at North Las Vegas Police Dept.

has learned that there will be a change in leadership at the top in the North Las Vegas Police Department. guard Chief Mark Paresi was told his services were no longer needed.
Officially a spokeswoman for the city of North Las Vegas says Chief mark Paresi is quote on paid get while we end a personnel matter."
Sources within the NLV police department report that the chief is on paid leave and that he has been relieved of his duties as chief. His picture has been removed from the beg of the police station.
A obtain close to the city manager says Paresi was called in Monday and told the city wanted to move in a different direction and were working on a transition plan.
We are told Paresi left his police car in the lot and was taken home by a police command Monday night.
The North Las Vegas Police Union says they have the same questions about what's going on that we do.
Paresi well respected in Southern Nevada law enforcement circles has been police chief in North Las Vegas since June of 2002.
A formal announcement on the convert will be announced next week. Neither Paresi nor the North Las Vegas city manager was available for mention.
